Comments about your body or appearance
Remarks about how you look, what you're wearing, or your personal life. Framed as compliments or jokes, they can still be unlawful when they don't stop.
Advances that keep coming after you said no
Repeated requests for dates, attention, or contact after you've made it clear you're not interested. If it's from someone with power over your job, that makes it worse — not more acceptable.
Touching you didn't ask for
Any physical contact you didn't want, from “accidental” brushes to something far more serious. A single incident can be enough.
Sexual messages, photos, or videos
Texts, DMs, emails, or images have no place at work — and the law can reach conduct that happens off the clock and off company property.
Your job used as leverage
Any suggestion that your shifts, your promotion, your hours, or your job itself depends on going along with something. This has its own legal name and it is taken seriously.
A workplace that's hostile even when it isn't aimed at you
Sexual talk, images, or “jokes” that make the environment itself hostile. You don't have to be the intended target to be harmed by it.

What actually happens in a sexual harassment case?
